I’m a Swedish composer currently based in Barcelona, Spain. I make music for video games, orchestras, classical ensembles and choirs, films, trailers and ads. My background in rock, classical and jazz influences the way I compose my music, whether it be acoustic, electronic or a hybrid.
Strong melodies and moods ranging from catchy, rhythmic and explosive to sensitive, soft and atmospheric are some of my trademarks, and I use my abilities both as an orchestrator and a multi-instrumentalist to bring a colorful palette of sounds to the musical canvas. I like sounds. Sounds are fun.
I started my first band when I was 10 years old, and played guitar, piano and drums in several bands throughout my teenage years. This led me to develop a keen interest in instrumentation and eventually composition. I bought a simple MIDI sequencer and started making polyphonic ringtones with which I managed to get into a composition academy, and eventually I received a formal degree in classical composition. During my studies I experimented with electronic sounds, I played in jazz ensembles and big bands, and I sang in vocal ensembles, barbershop quartets and choirs. My approach has always been to add new tools to my toolbox by following my curiosity.
I have the piano as my main instrument, with various secondary instruments to use in my productions.
