This is the official site of Swedish composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Blix.
I have been composing for 15+ years and playing music even longer than that. My interest in instruments, exploring new musical genres and experimenting with sounds led me to discover my passion for composing.
This eclectic background is reflected in the music I write, which tends to have an emphasis on strong melodies and rhythms with colorful harmonies, often communicating joy and playfulness.
Throughout the years I have composed for chamber ensembles, symphony orchestras, classical soloists and choirs, as well as video games and short films. I write scores, produce music digitally, or a combination of both.
The piano is my main instrument, and I also sing and play guitar, bass and drums. I have performed with rock bands, jazz orchestras, classical ensembles and vocal groups.
